Please accept this correspondence as a formal letter of recommendation, congratulations and thanks for your contribution to a successful student performance. Specifically, I want you to know how much I appreciate your involvement in providing Rosie's Theatre Kids workshop to the students at Foose School. This was an exciting experience that provided a wonderful live performance opportunity for all of us attending and participating.

When I was first approached by Charon Battles-Williams about this opportunity I was a little skeptical. Being a former Drama Coach and Teacher, I could not wrap my mind around how you would be able to produce a 45 minute production with only 4 days of rehearsal with 100 students. You did it! When I attended the rehearsal during the week, I was impressed with the way in which your staff captivated the students and held their attention. All of the students were respected and treated like professional actors. They were held to high standards and expectations and they demonstrated their abilities to deliver.

In addition, I appreciated the collaboration between you and Mr. Rich Askey, our Music Teacher. The way in which you two communicated was electric. What we didn't have, you two put your collective energies together, brainstormed and it was done.

Most importantly, I was thrilled with the excitement from the students in the audience that was generated from the stage by the student performers. As !looked from the stage and around the auditorium, I could see smiling faces and moving heads and bodies. The excitement was electric!

Without any reservations whatsoever, I highly recommend your company and your talent to any school system or organization. What you bring to a community of learners is beneficial and rewarding to all: the performer and the audience. Thank you again for sharing your gift with the Harrisburg community.
